The metallographic analysis of materials, the instruments
calibration, the non-desctructive and sample tests, the product
quality control are the activities which improve the characteristics
of the products and which make more efficient the production
process.
The formation of students in this field is a very demanding
task for teachers, because students have to acquire a good
level of experience, an elevated manual skill and keep a high
precision level.
